My original site was destroyed by the provider. I have changed providers and am still learning how this one works. Please be patient while I work it out and get this rebuilt. Thank you.
My husband, David and I reside in western Massachusetts and have seven Tibetan Terriers. Cosmo, Bonnie, Suzi, Abby, Sophie, Tae' and Kam. We lost Hannah, our foundation bitch in June 2011. The above picture is of Cosmo, Hannah and one of their pups, Tucker who lives at his wonderful forever home. If you haven't figured it out the name CosHan is from Cosmo and Hannah.
I am listed on the Tibetan Terrier Club of America breeder referral and am the current Membership Chairperson as well as a member of the Board of Directors and 2nd Vice President from 2009/2013. At the annual meeting in Syracuse, NY held in conjunction with the National specialty I was surprised with the AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship Award, very exciting. My husband and I are both members of the Bay Colony Tibetan Terrier Club of which I am the current secretary.
Cosmo, Suzi and Sophie have OFA excellent hips and Abby and Tae' have OFA good hips, Kam is still to young, all the dogs are CERF'd annually. Abby and Tae' are both Baer tested and on the CHIC register. All the dogs have been DNA tested for the parentage, NCL, PLL and RD. It is very exciting times we live in that we can now breed our dogs without any worry about passing on these illnesses. Health has always been of foremost importance to us, I am a retired veterinary technician, which sometimes my guys probably wish I wasn't. We have been blessed with the best temperaments you could ask for. Any sire we use has to be a gentleman as we do not wish to breed in any undesirable attitudes. Love bugs are what we like.
The 7 of them are just a joy to behold, whether they are running together playing in the yard or just hanging out with us on the couch. We just love them all so much, they make our lives whole.
Doing the dog shows is a fun thing for me and my hairy kids. I do not ever plan to advertise that I have a ton of champions under my belt because that is not what is most important to me. When I breed a litter it is more important to find the best, most loving homes for them. We do have show quality puppies if this is what you want.
Although Hannah, Suzi and Abby are are done having puppies there are still a few pictures of all their puppies in their gallery for everyone to see. The other girls will each have their own galleries on their pages as our COSHAN family grows. The gallery below has some fun general pictures of our dogs and puppies that have gone on to their forever homes.
I will be updating and adding to this site periodically. I'm looking forward to chatting with other TT people and hope we can share our adventures and love of the breed. E-mail or call me to chat or ask questions. When you are done here check out the links below. On infodog click on WABR..Scroll down to Tibetan Terriers... Take a look at a huge number of TT's including ours. You will also enjoy the Tibetan Terrier Club of America, the Bay Colony TT Club and AKC websites - they have great information about the breed . Enjoy and come back some time - I update this site periodically.
